ANNETTE Williams will not be defending her York and District Ladies Squash League Veterans' title when the championship starts at Dunnington tomorrow.

Entrants (seeds in brackets): Susie Booth (1), Wendy Shepherd (2), Alison Sellars (3), Jackie Sedgewick (4), Anne Scott, Denise Bolam, Val Eccles, Janice Hall, Barbara Plummer, Margaret Jenkins, Brenda Walkington, Gill Mawby, Jean Campbell and Liz Stacey.
Tomorrow's order of play: 6.40pm Val Eccles v Janice Hall; 7.10pm Barbara Plummer v Jackie Sedgewick; 7.40pm Anne Scott v Denise Bolam; 8.10pm Jean Campbell v Liz Stacey; 7.50pm Alison Sellars v Margaret Jenkins; 8.50pm Brenda Walkington v Gill Mawby.
Losing first round players will go forward to the plate competition, which will start on Wednesday.
