YORK City's FA Cup clash with Premiership Fulham is heading for a sell-out, writes Dave Stanford.
The ticket-office at Bootham Crescent has been inundated with requests for tickets for next Saturday's eagerly anticipated fourth round tie.
The club's phone system has been jammed by callers with staff working around the clock to try and process requests.
The Family Stand and Main Stand seats have already sold out apart from reserved season ticket seats, with Popular Stand and David Longhurst Stand tickets still available.
Although the club is taking bookings from anyone who manages to get through, season-ticket holders will have their tickets processed first.
Tickets can also be booked in person by season ticket-holders, before tickets go on general sale on Monday at 9am.
The ticket office will be closed over the weekend as staff attempt to start processing the bookings already received.
For those wanting to leave a booking, the ticket office number is 01904 624447 ext 1.
