HELP! It's the middle of January and my New Year's resolution to use only public transport is already on its way out.
City of York Council and its partner, First York, have provided the people of York with a "turn up and go", "revolutionised", "simple", "frequent" and "reliable" Metro bus service.
This enables me to get into town and back using the Amber line: also known as the number 15, running half-hourly at eight and 38 minutes past the hour from Clifton Moor to Piccadilly, with the return leg running at 54 and 24 minutes past the hour; or, of course, if it's after 6pm, I need to use the Pink line, also known as the number 12A, which is most definitely not to be confused with the Pink line number 12, running hourly at 15 minutes past the hour from Clifton Moor to the York Theatre Royal and 36 minutes past the hour for the return leg... my resolve, for some reason, is beginning to wane.
