ON the day I was fascinated reading about roaring fires and rosy cheeks in your Property Press (January 10), a photograph of our New Year's Eve celebration arrived.
My bigger half, The Boar resplendent in blue and sage, snorted: "We look like a couple of well-scrubbed pigs."
Maybe that hot punch added lustre to our cheeks.
My purple and gold Indian skirt looks lovely in the picture. The trotter-pink ballet slippers photographed well. Two silk purses out of a sow's ear.
