I thank all those kind people who donated when my 13-year-old grandson and I were "busking" in York on Christmas Eve. We played most of the popular carols; Adam on his saxophone and me with my harmonica.
We raised over £55 which was gratefully received when we handed it over to St Leonard's Hospice.
Adam was visiting us for Christmas from Luxembourg, where he lives with his mum and dad and sister Sarah, so he would have something interesting to tell his friends when he returned home.
