Volunteer Arms 'A' go second after Nick Gledhill, Paul Walton and Ashley McGovern all contributed to a thrashing of Bootham Tavern.
Rob Barron and Mark Bowes sealed a remarkable win for Huntington SC over Poppleton Road WMC, who led 4-0 with two from unbeaten Mick Clarvis.
Chris Bedingham won twice for Woodman in division three in their win at Pack of Cards 'A'. Julie Horsman won two for the ladies team.
Scott Tennant, Paul Mizon and Dave Potter all starred as Pack of Cards 'B' overcame Turf Tavern 'B'. Bay Horse Fulford and Beeswing finished all square.
The ladies singles competition is being held on Wednesday, January 23, at Turf Tavern. Entry is £2 and last entries will be taken at 7.45pm. The competition will be completed on the night and all lady players are invited to enter.
