WHY did Douglas Craig turn down Gordon Gibb's offer in 2000?
Was it because he believed that he could manage to run the club better or because he wanted to drag it screaming and kicking into the Third Division, do dismally there and hope no one would care when he finally sold it?
I can't believe that, after being chairman all this time, he wasn't aware at the direction the club was headed in, both on the field, and financially.
Whoever takes over the club, be it a Supporters' Trust, an independent investor, or a combination, I have only one thing to ask of you. Care about York City Football Club.
