DOUGLAS Craig may be legally within his rights to sell Bootham Crescent Holdings for £4.5 million but what about his moral obligations to the fans and the city of York?
Bootham Crescent was bought in the 1930s for York City. The directors have no right to sell for their own financial gain.
This is the act of selfish, greedy people who purport to be supporters of the York City.
I am sure I share my sense of indignation at their actions with other supporters and also with the people of York and the surrounding area.
Everybody must stand up and fight, not just for the football club but for the right to play at Bootham Crescent. Douglas Craig cannot be allowed to get away with this.
