SWANSEA City football mascot Cyril the Swan could still face charges over an alleged assault on a female mascot from North Yorkshire, it emerged today.
The incident is alleged to have taken place at the Mascot's Grand National, held at Huntingdon Racecourse last September.
It was alleged that Cyril pushed over the woman - who was dressed as a dog - leaving her with an injured wrist.
A Cambridgeshire Police spokeswoman said: "The case has been referred to the Crown Prosecution Service and the investigation is continuing.
"A 28-year-old man has been bailed to return to Huntingdon Police Station on January 30."
