Rufforth saw off Grasshoppers to make it through to the third round of the York Mitchell Sports League Cup.
Two goals from Chris Dempsey and one each by Liam Spencer and Ian Robson gave them a 4-1 win, with Joe Mills replying for Grasshoppers.
Thorpe United finally won through after extra time in their match against Real Cliffe with Josh Shaw scoring twice and Stefan Dodds adding. Chris Gilmartin and Jamie Newey scored for Real Cliffe.
Copmanthorpe Cougars lost to Dunnington in another match taken to extra time. Adam Jones scored for Cougars, but Samuel Tree hit two for Dunnington, with Matthew Wilks and Scott Nichols also adding.
Brooklyn went through to the next round with a win over Barmby Moor, Mike Gibson scoring a brace, Domanique Amors and Ben Wade also scoring. In reply, Sam Appleton scored two for Barmby Moor.
The remaining matches will now be played on Sunday, January 13 having been postponed due to frozen pitches.
In a rearranged league match, Easingwold hit ten in their game against Barlby Raiders, with Freddie Walker and Lewis Taylor both scoring four and Simon Webster hitting two. Luke Zacharenko scored the consolation goal for Barlby Raiders.
