FARMER Colin Newlove has been no stranger to the headlines over the past few years.
His giant bull, Frank Bruno, was a world record beater and his turkey, Clever Trevor, managed to avoid the festive pot when it demonstrated its skill as an acrobat.
And his ambitious plans to create an angling lake on his land, near Pickering, was a major success with the fishing fraternity.
Now his various exploits have been captured on canvas for posterity - and it's all thanks to Durham artist Jo Campin.
Ms Campin has just finished her fourth painting of Colin, a montage featuring some of the things he's done over the years.
"He's had an unusual life and has had some very unusual animals," she said.
"It's always fun working with Colin and this is a way of helping his descendants remember what he got up to."
