A MAJOR new agricultural event aimed at giving a business boost to farmers is to be held at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate.
The Yorkshire Agricultural Society is to host AgriVision North - a farming business event aimed at farmers in the north - on Friday, March 22.
Christopher Hall, of the society, said: "AgriVision North will be an opportunity to bring together those who are looking at ways of taking their farming enterprises forward with those presenting the options for change.
"It will be very much a hands-on event with stands, seminars, workshops and demonstrations. We hope the farming community will see this as a valuable opportunity to get together, enjoy the day and progress their business."
The event, which is being organised by the society in association with the Royal Agricultural Society of England, is one of eight regional exhibitions being staged around the country.
