WHEN Susan Boldry offered to 'gift wrap' the Christmas trees she and her husband James sold at their plantation at Stockton-on-the-Forest, along with free sprigs of holly, fir tree boughs and dried flowers, the only payment she suggested was a small donation to her chosen charity for the year.
The recipient - not for the first time - was the Wilf Ward Family Trust, a locally-based charity offering a variety of services to disabled people in the area.
On behalf of those disabled people I thank the many willing donors who helped raise nearly £250.
