A MAN who died when the car he was travelling in somersaulted several times on an East Yorkshire road has been named by police.
Adam Dunham, 20, from Allerthorpe, near Pocklington, was a front seat passenger in a red Rover 216 which lost control as it travelled towards Beverley on the A1079 near Pocklington at about 2am yesterday.
Mr Dunham is the son of Dr Mike Dunham, who is a partner at Pocklington Group Practice, in Barmby Road, Pocklington.
He was not at work today and his surgery has been cancelled.
The car driver, who is also from the Pocklington area and has not been named, suffered a fractured arm in the accident and is in a satisfactory condition in York District Hospital.
