A RESUGENT Selby Warriors side made it three wins in a row by beating title-chasing Stanningley Crown in Yorkshire League division three.
The Warriors were 12-0 behind after as many minutes but hit back in stunning fashion to beat the second-placed outfit 28-12.
It was the only game throughout the league to get the go-ahead with all other matches postponed because of the weather, or pitch conditions, and after the opening ten minutes it appeared Crown would run away with it as Colin Smales and Gary Barker both touched down, with Dave Wales kicking two goals.
However, Wayne Fennel opened Selby's try account in the bitterly cold conditions, and two further tries before half-time from Ed Mallard and Richard
Burden, plus one conversion by man of the match Fennel, put the Warriors ahead.
The second-half proved a bad-tempered affair as the visitors stared defeat in the face.
A great move involving Hardy and Bardauskas sent impressive captain Sean Barker in for his fourth try of the season, and Andy Rowe was the next to go over followed by Mallard's second. The latter also tagged on the goal to complete the scoring.
