AFTER reading Y A Brown's letter (December 29) I thought I would add my complaint to hers.

I also went to see the Grand Opera House panto and thoroughly enjoyed it. At half time, I went to buy my grandson and his cousin an ice cream. I was appalled at the price - £2 for a chocolate-coated vanilla ice cream lolly.

This was exorbitant and I told the seller so.

It said on the wrapper Belgian chocolate! Do any kids know the difference between that and our local brand from Nestl? Come on Grand Opera House, buy local and keep the prices down. You will sell more as people were refusing to buy the others.
