THE A64 contraflow near York starts again this weekend after a festive break.
But this time traffic lights may be introduced on slip roads feeding on to the dual carriageway to speed up the flow of A64 traffic.
Phase Two of the scheme to build an underpass at Copmanthorpe begins on Monday, after all the cones - removed before Christmas - are put back again tomorrow and on Sunday.
Highways Agency project manager David Phillips says every effort is being made to ensure delays are kept to a minimum, although they will be inevitable at peak times.
