THIRSK trainer David Barron, who completed a double at Southwell yesterday, has good prospects of adding to his score on the same course tomorrow.

Barron saddles Supreme Salutation in £5 Minimum Stake on 0800 329393 Handicap and the six-year-old has a good chance of adding to the trainer's tally.

Although a frustrating customer, Supreme Saultation has the ability to win a race of this nature.

The task of producing him falls to Malton jockey Dean Murnagh, who will doubtless aim to put the geling's head in front near the line.

Carnage makes plenty of appeal in division one of the Call Bet Direct Handicap over two miles and is awarded my Nap vote.

A new recruit to Clive Drew's stable, Carnage showed his appreciation for a step up in distance on this course three weeks ago when he made all the running and stayed on strongly to beat African Dawn by half-a-length.

Tomorrow's extra two furlongs should not inconvenience him, and nor should a 6lb hike in the weights. He can oblige again under Lee Newton.

Paul Felgate, who had a good winner at Southwell earlier in the week when Prime Recreation won a £20,000 sprint, saddles Oare Kite in the Bet Direct Fillies' Handicap over six furlongs.

Felgate, an ace trainer of sprinters, is bringing Oare Kite back from a three-month break. But she won her final start on turf and, if she can translate her form to the sand, a bold bid is anticipated.

Mark Johnston looks to have found a good opportunity for Takes Tutu to shine in the Littlewoods Bet Direct Maiden Stakes. Keith Dalgleish has the mount on the three-year-old, who boasts some fair placed form.
