I was once a proud and active supporter of York City.
In recent years, however, the emphasis seems to have been on corporate entertainment at the expense of decent facilities for the incredibly loyal hardcore of fans and of football itself.
Manager Terry Dolan has had time enough to make an impact and, to everyone's eyes, except, it seems, the board, he has failed lamentably.
I would hate to see a club with a proud past go to the wall, particularly in a city which, in terms of population, is expanding.
Give us a decent team and show a little more consideration for the fans...not the fat cats.
They, clearly, are not interested in saving the club. We are.
