Wetherby's opening race meeting of the year - the first of 16 scheduled days' racing at the 'A1' course during the year - is scheduled to take place a week today, first race 1.10pm.
The principal race is The Tote Exacta Steeplechase (a Showcase Handicap over three miles, one furlong), with prize money of £15,000.
This race is sure to attract several quality steeplechasers, including some which took part in the Rowland Meyrick Handicap Chase at the Christmas Meeting.
The Rocom Handicap Hurdle over two miles and The Harry Wharton Novices' Chase (three miles, one furlong) in memory of a former Wetherby-based trainer, are also featured.
The concluding race is a qualifying contest in this season's EBF Novices' Hurdle Series.
The first four horses will be eligible for the final at Sandown in March.
