IT wasn't so cool for cats the night David Mallender dressed up as a hippy to go to a fancy dress party.
David, of Stamford Bridge, was just about to leave the house when he discovered his not-so-lucky black cat, Phoebe, had got stuck behind his son's fitted wardrobe.
There was no way of reaching her, so he eventually had to resort to getting out his electric jig saw to cut a hole in the back of the wardrobe.
Phoebe emerged unscathed through the bizarre "cat-flap", leaving David and his wife, Kate, free to go to their party, a little late, but with a tale to tell.
