GAVIN Wilson has astounded doctors with his progress since he was left paralysed after falling from his mountain bike. And he has made it home for Christmas, which is more than his family had dared to hope for.
At one time it was feared that Gavin might never breathe again without the aid of a ventilator. Now he is home in Huntington, and even looking forward to returning to school.
Despite his considerable trauma, and despite being confined to a wheelchair, Gavin retains a positive outlook on life and is determined to do everything he possibly can.
Here is one boy who deserves all the very best this Christmas.
