YORK Rugby Union Club Under-10s won one and drew one of what were two of their most difficult matches so far this season when they entertained visiting teams from Driffield and Darlington last weekend.
They beat Driffield 20-10 and then drew 10-10 against Darlington.
Driffield and Darlington drew their game 0-0, which meant that York took the honours in the triangular tournament.
York's try-scorers in their first game were Liam Killen (3) and Charlie Nicholson, whose tackling and determined running were highlights of both games.
Ben Hepworth scored both tries in the draw with Darlington.
