DR Duncan Campbell wrote that the thugs who threw a cat at a bus windscreen should be hung, drawn and quartered, at the least (December 17).
If this is the punishment he proposes for people who may have shocked a cat (which may have led to its demise) I dread to think what he would have administered to a serious offender.
In what discipline does Duncan Campbell hold a doctorate? Not divinity or anything logical I hope.
Could he be the same Duncan Campbell that used to write in The New Scientist back when I was a lad 40 years or so ago?
