Speedy Matthew Hoyle was Thorpe United's match-winner as he scored all his team's goals in their York FA Intermediate Minor Cup fourth round 4-2 win over Rawcliffe.
Dave Adams put Rawcliffe ahead with a well-worked set-piece corner, but ten minutes later Hoyle latched on to James Tweedie's pass to equalise.
Hoyle made it 2-1 early in the second half.
However, with just two minutes remaining Mark Turner's penalty took the game into extra time.
Hoyle's pace caused Rawcliffe all sorts of problems and he netted twice more to put Thorpe into the semi-finals.
They were joined by Rufforth, who beat Real Cliffe 2-1.
Jamie Gavin opened the scoring for Rufforth after ten minutes but Cliffe equalised with a direct free-kick.
Gavin restored Rufforth's lead before half-time with a penalty and although both sides came close in the second half there was no addition to the score.
