NOT everyone, it seems, is brimming with festive spirit. A Huntington congregation has been denied access to their church's car park after the entrance was blocked with a tree trunk.
The ins and outs of this dispute are hardly relevant. What matters is the manner in which it is resolved. The right way to do that is by discussion and negotiation; the wrong way is to cause widespread irritation in the community with a petty-minded act.
Blocking the car park just days before Christmas was clearly intended to cause maximum annoyance.
Someone has yet to realise that this is supposed to be the season of goodwill.
