COMPETING in York John Smith's Mixed League division one, Michelle Britton equalled the York area record for the fastest 501 by a woman player.
Golden Slipper's Roz Kerr did it last season, and Britton powered to 13 darts by scoring 180, 140, 83, 98, then double 12 in Tap's 6-3 victory over Cygnet 'C'.
Tap's John Smith gamed with an excellent 18 darts.
Jim Hawksby shot 19 darts, then paired with Sue Smith to take the decider in Beeswing's favour at Huntington, who had Angie Hields replying with 19 darts.
Dave Gibbons (19) and Dawn Exton (180) helped Cygnet 'A' beat their 'B' side 7-2, while Martyn Turner threw 180 for 20 and Phil Smith-Julie Judson collected the decider for Leeman 'A' over Bumper.
Three Tons for 23 by Doreen Johnstone and 180 for 20 from Mick Willsden were the highlights in Slipper 'B' team's win against Vaults 'B'.
Roz Kerr partnered Joan Woods to game in 19 darts in a 7-2 win over Nags Head which keeps Brigadier ahead of the field in York John Smith's Ladies League division one.
Colleague Carole Layne included scores of 140, 100 for 23 darts.
Carole Pipes hit two tons for 22 and there were 23 darters by both Bev Harton and Angie Hields which helped Phoenix 'B' to an excellent victory against Ox.
Anita Adams was Slipper's lone point scorer against Clifton, while Slip were on form, Wendy Smith hitting the tons in an 8-1 result at Vaults. Cindy Benton saved Vaults blushes.
Britannia 'A' still hold top spot in division two despite suffering a 5-4 defeat at Half Moon. Dorothy Bruce included two tons then partnered Paula Birkitt to put the match safe.
Leeman 'B' closed to within a point. They were too hot for Cygnet, and, having the match in the bag, Pat Nelson made the score 5-1, ably assisted by Sandra Agar and Floss Crampton.
Clifton have the top two in their sights and shot down Severus with their landlady, Jo Hodges, hitting the tons.
Babs Potter played well but Holgate found the double hard to locate and Burton WMC polished them off 6-3.
Betty Pinder and Joan Harrison won the decider for Britannia 'B' after Maggie Beddingham and Eileen Haw had put Shepherd level at 4-4.
Division three leaders Jubilee were all square with Acomb going into the pairs. Jeanette Whittaker-Maxine Midgley gave Jubilee the edge, but J Thomas-J Nelson set up the decider which colleagues M Thomas-W Harris secured.
Shepherd were 2-0 down due to wins by Ebor's Carol Rimmer and Chez Roberts gave Ebor a bright start but Shepherd 'B' showed their determination, Pauline Dale hitting the big scores.
Rimmer and Roberts joined forces to pull one back but Karen Barrett-Jaquie Pearson squared and Val Pringle-Julie Stables secured Shepherd the decider.
Tang Hall had Sue Wentworth and Mavis Rawcliffe snatching a 5-4 result at Clifton. Woodman cut down Puss 'B', Stella Sear and Judy Goldsmith giving them a 5-4 victory.
Woolpack pocketed the vital doubles over Cueball, Kath Powell leading the way.
