Acomb men's first team wrapped up their pre-Christmas programme with a comfortable 2-0 win over Doncaster.
Nick Linfoot and Jamie Robinson came close for Acomb before they took the lead midway through the first half.
From a powerfully taken free hit from Paul Wright, Robinson deflected the ball past the Doncaster 'keeper.
Acomb soon doubled their lead with a short corner routine with Stuart Baxter starting and finishing the move as he swept the ball into the goal.
Acomb had further chances to increase their advantage, but went in 2-0 up at the interval.
After the break the hosts continued to create good chances with Jon Cooper coming close to extending Acomb's lead as Doncaster offered little threat to a home defence in which Dave Bell had a strong game.
