BAR wars have flared up again. York's mighty KitKat has been toppled as the nation's number one by Cadbury's Dairy Milk, says a report. Rubbish, retorts Nestl Rowntree, the figures exclude the two-finger KitKat. Add them in, and sales are better than ever.
The KitKat has long been the supreme chocolate bar, a source of true pride in this chocolate city. We must do our all to ensure it remains ascendant.
Go forth this Christmas and munch as many KitKats as you can manage.
