Barmby Moor prevented Copmanthorpe opening up a big gap at the top of Leeper Hare York and District League division two as they held the table-toppers to a 2-2 draw at Copmanthorpe.
They were only prevented from taking all three points by an equaliser from Lee Atkinson with five minutes remaining.
Phil Harper, newly promoted from the reserve side, had netted twice in the first half for Barmby. A Darren Lefevre goal kept Copmanthorpe in touch and set up the dramatic late equaliser.
T&L Selby moved into third place with games in hand after inflicting the second consecutive defeat on Fulford.
The Selby side won 3-1, with Steve Dunn netting Fulford's goal.
Haxby & Wigginton continue to slide down the table after their promising start to the season.
Jamie Rank put visitors Stamford Bridge into the lead in the first minute with John Machin equalising for Haxby & Wigginton before half-time, but two second-half goals from Nick Rank took the points for Stamford Bridge.
Hamilton Panthers thumped an under-strength Stillington side 6-0, with Simon Fletcher, Craig Fletcher and Gavin Pickard each getting a brace of goals.
Matthew Coop salvaged a point for Heworth with a goal in the last minute to give them a 1-1 draw at home against Norton.
White Horse slipped back to the bottom of the table after losing 3-1 at Easingwold.
The sides were tied at 1-1 for most of the game, with Gary Ruckledge netting for White Horse and Tony Raper on target for Easingwold, but a lapse of concentration in the White Horse defence saw Paul Floyd and Gary Raper hit goals in the last five minutes for Easingwold.
