Pocklington were swamped in their rearranged Yorkshire One encounter with Scarborough, as the visitors cut loose in the second half to rack up a 57-3 victory.
Scarborough were ahead within two minutes. They caught and drove from the first lineout to go over for a converted try.
Pocklington then had a period of attacking but it ended with a long range break away score by Scarborough.
Pocklington came back again only to be restricted to a single Andy Walker penalty and Scarborough had the final say of the half with their third converted try just before the interval.
The sides had been evenly matched for most of the first half, with Scarborough taking the honours thanks to putting away their chances.
But in the second period, the seasiders took complete control to quickly move out of sight.
Scarborough scored virtually from the kick off to the second half, then hit a purple patch to run in 30 points in the next 20 minutes.
Scarborough dominated in all phases and Pocklington were unable to respond as the visitors cut loose with some impressive attacking play.
Pocklington had already lost the services of Mark Taylor and John Ainslie in the first half with leg injuries, and Ben Hirst also limped off with knee problems midway through the second half.
His replacement was veteran Adam Lakin, who added some belated steel to Pocklington's efforts as they improved again in the closing ten minutes. Pocklington's man of the match on a disappointing day was teenage debutante scrum half Henry Mitchell, who worked hard behind a beaten pack.
