NEW Earswick All Blacks have a tough task on their hands as they entertain second-placed Brotherton in Yorkshire League senior and division one (kick off 2pm).
All Blacks, still rooted to the bottom after one win in ten games, will also have to contend with the absence of captain Jez Petch through unavailability, although Nick Wilkinson returns after two weeks out.
Spokesman Charles Rollinson said: "We seem to play well for half-games but not the full 80 minutes, but at this level to get anything out of games you need to keep focused for the whole match.
"Brotherton had a big win last week, but we've beaten Kippax and they are a decent side in this league so we know we're capable of winning."
York Groves will also have to be on top form in their Pennine League division four clash against Park Amateurs 'A' at South Moor, Huntington.
The Halifax side are below Groves in the table but have only played two league games, winning once, drawing once and scoring 100 points.
Groves coach Simon Moat expects Martin and Lee Simpson to return after holiday and Rich Pollock to be back from injury, the trio having missed the fine win over Siddal 'B'.
Like their first team, York Acorn 'A' are also involved in a derby, away to Selby Warriors in Yorkshire League division three. Warriors have bounced back to form and will give a good test to high-flying Acorn. Selby players are asked to meet at the pitch at 1pm.
High-riding Heworth 'A' entertain Shaw Cross 'A' in division four.
