New Earswick and Cliffe share top spot in the Winter Ladies Tennis League.
New Earswick beat Terrington and Rowntree Park, while Cliffe enjoyed wins over Pocklington and Poppleton.
Terrington and neighbours Sheriff Hutton had a close match before Terrington emerged victorious to move into joint fourth place with Pocklington. Sheriff Hutton are still seeking their first win.
Fulford Juniors are having a Christmas party, including a quiz and fun games on court, at Fulford TC tomorrow from 6pm-8pm.
The 2002 season will see Fulford Ladies celebrate 25 years since they first formed the Fulford Ladies Invitation League.
The men will also celebrate 25 years of Yorkshire League Tennis and will be in division three in the coming season.
