TADCASTER Albion boss Wayne Day was seething with the referee's display after seeing his side lose 2-1 after extra-time to Goole in the West Riding Cup.
Albion were denied three penalty appeals - one an apparent handball while the ball was goalbound - and saw a controversial spot kick awarded at the other end to hand Goole an 87th-minute equaliser.
Kevin Duckworth had given Northern Counties East League division one side Albion the lead, but Stuart Baldwin scored the premier division outfit's penalty and Matty Edeson netted the winner five minutes into extra time.
Day, who also claimed a Goole defender should have been sent off, said: "It was probably the most blatantly biased refereeing display I've seen for a long, long time.
"The officials sometimes think the team from the higher division have a divine right to win and that's how it was refereed."
Selby Town were also knocked out of the West Riding Cup, losing 2-1 to Liversedge.
Meanwhile, Harrogate Town will have to wait until next Tuesday for their chance to qualify for a mouth-watering tie against Doncaster Rovers.
Town's FA Umbro Trophy tie at Kendal Town last night, the winners of which will entertain Rovers, was called off because the Cumbrians' pitch was frozen. The tie had been postponed twice before due to a waterlogged pitch.
Robert Gill has returned to Doncaster after his loan spell at Harrogate Town. If Town beat Kendal they will play Rovers in the next round of the Umbro Trophy.
