Tadcaster Men 1st X1 turned in an improved display to prise a point from promotion-seeking Old Malton 1sts.
The hosts attained a timely lift in morale from a fine 3-3 draw with goals from Andy Dowdall (2) and Matt Kingsbury.
Tadcaster produced a fluidity that not only belied their lowly position but gave them the lead, which stayed intact until they conceded two sloppy goals just after half-time.
They countered with two goals of their own to regain the lead only for the visitors to snatch a draw with the last touch.
Pluck was the main preserve of Tadcaster 2nds' showing against league leaders Bradford 3rds.
After an even opening 20 minutes Tadcaster trailed to a swift counter-attack. Shortly after Bradford bagged another brace of goals to lead 3-0 at half-time.
But after the interval Tadcaster stuck to their task manfully and weathered all that their visitors could throw at them.
