I WISH to express my grateful thanks, also those of my two sons and daughters, for the wonderful nursing I received at York District Hospital, after being rushed there on November 10.
The ambulance service was contacted and quickly appeared at the door. I remember being carried into the ambulance but nothing after that.
Eventually I came round, surrounded by strange faces, who I later came to know as the devoted nurses of Ward 22. I also recognised my heart consultant Dr E McEvoy.
I was alive again thanks to all the wonderful staff at York District Hospital. You were there when I needed you.
