I READ the review of Caf Rouge in Weekender but was surprised that your reporter failed to mention the quiet, relaxing music that is heard there regularly.
On my last visit I discovered Mr Yellow on the inside of Caf Rouge, peering out, and you can always hear a wide selection of music from the Forties to the Sixties being played, which is pretty rare these days, given that younger workers usually prefer a background of noise from their beloved discos.
