AFTER the runaway success of last year's first instalment, a sequel was always on the cards. Still based on Tony Hawk's Skateboarding game engine, this is a by-the-numbers sequel with more villains such as Kraven, a few more tricks, but pretty much the same old gameplay.
That's no bad thing in this case, as the first one really had very few flaws. The principal flaws remain, however, with sometimes erratic camerawork in the game making life difficult in tight sections. Also, the game doesn't last very long, but it's not the kind of game you want to last forever. It's quick, disposable and fun and will certainly wile away a weekend.
