GUEST of honour Adam Hardy (Pete Read Racing) paid tribute to Clifton Cycling Club's high quality pedigree and 106-year tradition at the club's Annual Dinner and Prize Presentation at The Buckles Inn.
The welcome was given by Peter Holyoake and responded to by club president and former multiple National Competition Record holder, Pete Smith.
Smith recalled a selection of the more amusing instances and significant aspects of his glory days, including the 1968 Olympic Trials and entertaining references involving John Watson, another Clifton past master whose competitive career was also truly illustrious.
The award winners were presented by Hardy.
