York Acorn under-15s kept their title challenge alive with a 23-16 home win over a resilient Doncaster Toll Bar who actually led 12-8 at half-time.
Impressive displays by stand off Tom Hill, strong running centre Liam Watling and loose forward Simon Wadsworth saw Acorn come out on top in the second half.
Acorn's tries came from Wadsworth, Watling, Gavin Dickinson and Tom Dunmore to go with three goals and a field goal from Joey Burns.
York Acorn under-13s started strongly in their home encounter with Featherstone, but lost 18-16.
Acorn took an early 8-0 lead with tries by Lee Spain and Kyle Hand before allowing their visitors to hit back.
Acorn threw the ball around in the second half but basic errors allowed the visitors off the hook despite scoring further tries through Matthew Gray and Mark Gover.
Impressive for Acorn were man-of-the-match Spain and Budd.
York Acorn under-14s travelled to Rodley Rockets and came away with a fine 34-14 win secured on the back of a four-try haul from their man-of-the-match Jason Smith, who also topped the tackle count.
He was well supported in the tackling stakes by scrum-half Tim Elliott and Thomas Mackley with the latter showing his prowess in attack as well when notching a try and three goals.
Their other points came from tries by Danny Capel and Joe Clark.
