NOEL Pullan shows off his sole ambition - to make Dr Egostein's boots for the panto.
The 8in-high shoes will take a starring role in this year's Theatre Royal pantomime, Jack And The Beanstalk.
Mr Pullan, owner of Linfoots, of Walmgate, York, is a regular visitor to the Berwick Kaler extravaganza and is proud to be able to help out.
"It took me three weeks to make these," he said.
"They were quite tricky, but we have to do all sorts for theatre. It is nice to be a part of the panto, I go every year and this one will be no exception."
As well as making the extra-high boots, made comfortable enough to be worn for 65 energetic performances, Noel has worked on other creations for the pantomime - including dyeing Berwick Kaler's huge boots.
