GREEN-FINGERED Jaqueline Attrill is preparing to show how her garden grows in a national competition.
The 30-year-old mother of two, from Husthwaite, near Easingwold, has reached the finals of the BBC Gardener of the Year competition.
And her achievement comes despite only taking up the hobby six years ago.
Jacqueline entered a garden which has been influenced by monastic gardens and country crafts.
And she will battle it out against another five contestants in the final for the best amateur gardener, to be screened on BBC 2 on December 21.
Each had to build a show garden in only three-and-a-half days.
They will also be tested on their gardening knowledge.
BBC producer Jackie Dietrich said: "The great thing about a competition like this is discovering just how many passionate and creative gardeners there are, and unearthing the little-known talents of some really skilled amateurs.
"Our six finalists epitomise the very best."
