ALLAN Galley made a splendid 153 exit as Bay Horse cruised to a 7-2 victory over Mitre in York Atlas Auto Services League division one.

Galley was well supported by Dave O'Hara, who included a 106-finish, while Paul Cooper (20) and 21-darters each by Rich Corner and Andy Lawson gave Bay Horse the edge. Harry Clay's excellent 19-darter was Mitre's best player.

Martin Hagan's finishes of 137 in the singles and 100 in the pairs put Clifton 'A' in the driving seat against Slipper. Neil Hart added a 20-darter.

Darrel Blake was Clifton 'B's point scorer as Volunteer marched to a comfortable win.

In division two, John Miller and Paul Lane combined to secure the win at Woolpack which puts Cygnet on top. Good scores from Andy Sykes saved the aggregate for Acomb as Fulford recorded their first win of the season.

A last-game win wrapped up victory for Huntington 'A' but, a maximum from Mick Powell gave Crescent 'A' the aggregate point.

Huntington 'B' top division three after a convincing win over Indoor Bowls whose Mick Snowden prevented the whitewash. A 21-darter from James Fitzpatrick set Jackdaw on their way to 7-2 victory against Reindeer.

Jason Powney closed a magnificent 15 darts as Bay Horse 'B' beat Woodman in division four.

Barry Noble led Dringhouses to a 6-3 York John Smith's Men's League victory over Flag with a tremendous 180 for 14 darts. Flag's Gordon Foster included 180 in a good 19-dart reply.

Trafalgar maintained their place in division one with a 5-4 win at Yearsley whose best performer was Glenn Waterworth. Kelvin Frankel set Trafalgar off with 21 darts but the match highlight was a 21-dart 701 from Ron Simpson (180) and Rich Plummer who checked out 126.

Shepherd 'A' struggled to master their 'B' side, while the leaders, Sun 'A', won 6-3 at Cygnet 'A'. Chris Thompson went out in 18 darts then chalked up 701 in 23 with Tony Cooper.

Ray McInally shot 180 but lost his first game in ten to 17 darts from Green Tree's Gary Wensley.

Poacher had a good starter 180 for 19 from Gary Hannigan and McInally partnered Gary Kynman to get the decider.

Keith Mercer and Garry Strider combined to seal Victoria Vaults a 5-4 victory at Saddle while Swan who had a fine 21 darts from Ged McMahon went down to Phoenix.

Brian Hawskby threw out on 105 and Steve Smith joined with his captain Sean Robinson to pinch the decider.

Division two leaders Osbaldwick, outplayed Groves 6-3 while Cygnet 'B', with Derrick Elliott shooting 180, took three pairs to eclipse Sun 'B' 6-3.

Slip Inn won 6-3 at Holgate but an excellent 18 darts from Derrick Hudson held the aggregate. Horseman's Pete Edwards strung 17 good darts together in a 6-3 triumph at Green Tree 'A'.

Three Fastest Finishes Competition: 44, Ray McInally, Poacher (15, 12, 17); 46, Barry Noble, Dringhouses (17, 15, 14); 47 Gary Wensley, Green Tree (16, 14, 17).

Dave O'Hara continued his excellent York John Smith's Mixed League form by gaming in 17 darts.

Kevin O'Hara included a maximum in support but Bumper went down in the decider to Cygnet 'A' teams John Dykes - Dawn Exton. Dave Gibbons recorded a 180 score.

Martyn Turner won in 19 darts for Leeman 'A' but Huntington fought back as Dave Bingham - Joan Hunter got the last game win.

Pete Leake (21) and Wendy Smith (24) stood out in Tap's 7-2 win over Cygnet 'C' who had a steady 20 darter from Dave Smith.

Vaults beat Bay Horse 5-4, Chris Bullen recording 174, while Beeswing's win included a 180 score by Jim Hawksby.

Slipper 'B' strengthened their squad with big scoring Barry Noble (140, 140, 125) and Mick Willsden (100, 100, 120) to beat Escrick 6-3 while Slipper 'A' lost to Leeman 'B' team's Dean and Toni Smallwood in the deciding game.
