York and District Cricket Coaches' Association are hoping to run two courses in the near future - providing they get sufficient interest from clubs.
They want to hold a "Fit for Cricket" course, aimed at keeping players in trim throughout the winter, and a First Aid course.
In both cases a minimum of 12 people are needed to ensure that the courses are run.
Any players or clubs interested should contact either the association's chairman Bob Paddison (01977 683288) or secretary Mike Pickering (01904 634567).
Both men were recently re-elected at the association's annual meeting along with Nigel Briggs (treasurer) and committee members Ian Dews, Alec Backhouse, Colin Sanctuary and Alec Firth.
