CHRISTMAS comes early to Coppergate as the centre goes festive season crazy.
Berwick Kaler and Lord Mayor Irene Waudby will be switching on the lights at the Coppergate centre at 7pm tomorrow to cap a day of fun. Staff will be dressed in Dickensian costumes, the Salvation Army band will be playing and they will even be giving away mince pies during the busy schedule at the York shopping centre.
Events will be taking place through the day as the centre gets ready for the busy Christmas period.
