A PENSIONER was seriously hurt and two others suffered slight injuries after a minibus collided with a car.
The North Yorkshire County Council minibus was in collision with a blue Mercedes on the A19 outside the Little Chef near Shipton-by-Beningbrough.
Irene Malster, 81, of Helperby, suffered serious injuries and was taken to York District Hospital.
Gladys Hurst, 85, and Jane Arrowsmith, 78, both of Alne, suffered slight injuries and were also taken to hospital.
The road was partially closed following the incident at 4.27pm yesterday.
