YET again the "wow" factor has earned an award for Pocklington Montessori School.
This time the school which was last year's winner of the Evening Press Business of the Year received a commendation for the first time of trying at the National Training Awards presentation ceremony.
Rosie Pressland, founder of the school, which has earned a perfect Ofsted inspection report and has a waiting list of yet-to-be born children, received her accolade from Harry Gration, of BBC Look North, at a glittering reception at The Royal Armouries, in Leeds.
The broadcaster recalled that it was less than a year ago that he was presenting Rosie with no fewer than four awards in the Evening Press competition, including Small Business of the Year, the Progress Through People Award and Business Personality of the Year.
Rosie said: "We'll be back for more next year. We were told by the judges that we had the 'wow' factor and we will now build on that to go for further achievements."
Winners of this year's Evening Press Business of the Year Awards will be announced at a glamorous dinner at the historic Merchant Adventurers' Hall, York, on Thursday, December 6.
