OH dear. Such a nice photo feature on the Derwent Valley Railway (November 16). Unfortunately, the steam loco in the pictures is not Joem (note the spelling) but Hardwicke - the nameplate is clearly readable on the larger photo.
Hardwicke (not "the Hardwicke") is a former London & North Western Railway locomotive which is part of the National Railway Museum collection, and it ran the trial trains.
Joem did not come to the railway until the regular service began.
Still, at least your writer avoided using any of the terminally tired clichs "Full steam ahead for...", "All aboard for..." or "the ...now arriving at" which I was beginning to think were compulsory for any story connected with railways, so there's hope yet!
