NEW Earswick All Blacks went to Moorends with an under-strength side and paid the price with a 44-8 defeat in Yorkshire League senior division.
All Blacks got off to a great start on eight minutes when Alex Davis went from acting half to go under the posts, Carl Pallister converting.
However, Moorends hit back, kicking through to score under the posts and equalise with the extras.
Two tries in four minutes midway through the half saw the hosts go 16-6 in front before Pallister narrowed the deficit with a penalty.
In the last minute of the first half, a Moorends penalty made it 18-8, and the hosts ran away with it in the second period.
All Blacks saw little possession, with Moorends scoring 10 points in the opening ten minutes of the half.
All Blacks scrum-half Nigel Tyreman was sinbinned for dissent and as the visitors tired, Moorends ran in three more tries.
