Leeper Hare York and District League leaders Dringhouses' unbeaten start to the campaign came to an end at Old Malton.
A thrilling, fast-moving game saw the hosts win 4-2, thanks to a superb second-half show.
Old Malton took control in the second period to notch four goals, Steve Boyes bagging a couple with Phil Hill and Darren Rushworth notching one apiece. Dringhouses replied with goals from John Lake and Mark Ratcliffe.
At the other end of the table, New Earswick drew 1-1 Huntington. Both teams are in need of points and consequently this game proved to be fully committed.
New Earswick took the lead, Jimmy Vine snapping up his chance, but Rovers, who are finding it hard to find their form this season, came out slightly on top in the midfield battle, with Pat Noon prominent, and bagged the equaliser through Rob Cookland's header.
Rufforth went down at home to Crayke by the only goal of the game, netted in the first half from the penalty spot by Tim Jackson.
A close game saw the visitors earn their three points to keep them in mid-table, but Rufforth missed a couple of sitters as both sides saw good chances go astray.
A keenly contested, attacking game saw Wigginton Grasshoppers see off Nestl Rowntree 2-0.
With both sides' defences outstanding, no goals were registered in the first half, but the home side broke the deadlock after the break with a well taken goal by substitute Neil Hinde.
Good chances were missed by both teams before Wigginton stepped up their game to secure the three points when Neil Hinde fired home his second goal of the contest.
